Tasty deviled ham salad is perfect for adding to a sandwich or using as a spread on crackers. Similar to egg salad or tuna salad, this easy recipe is a great way to use up leftover ham.

Why make this salad
This ham salad spread has so much flavor and is perfect to make up a quick sandwich or serve as a spread for crackers on your appetizer buffet. Make with leftover ham or deli ham.
Key Ingredients
- Ham – use leftover holiday ham or buy ham from your deli
- Mayonnaise – use whatever you have in your refrigerator
- Celery – finely diced
- Pickle relish – sweet relish is what I’ve used. You could also use dill pickle relish or finely chop up dill pickles
- Dijon mustard – use regular yellow mustard if you prefer

To Make
- Place ham in a food processor.
- Pulse until finely chopped. Do not over chop or you will end up with a paste
- Place ham in a bowl along with finely diced celery, mayonnaise, dijon and pickle relish
- Stir lightly until combined
- Serve right away or cover and refrigerate
Tips for making ham salad
- The amount of mayonnaise added will vary depending on how dry your ham is. Start with a ½ cup and add more as needed
- Don’t over process your ham, you want a fine dice, but not a paste
- If you don’t have a food processor, you can finely mince the ham with a knife
- Keep salad covered and refrigerated for up to two days

Serving Suggestions
Serve this tasty salad on multigrain bread with homemade potato chips.
